PROJECT micro CAPSULE: ALL SPACEX SECRETS REVEALED

SpaceX, NASA, Blue Origin, Ariane… Companies that stimulate our imagination by their amazing achievements.

But, behind all those successes, simple physics rules applied.

We in-house designed the micro Capsule to reveal those rules through an entire Project Based curriculum that will take kids along speed, acceleration, Gs, tilts, energy, damping, parachutes and more!

PROJECT TL1: A UNIQUE STEAM SWARM ROBOTICS PLATFORM

For years, TechLabs was using robotics kits from various suppliers on the market for their STEAM classes. This time, they wanted to offer something different to their kids. Something unique and original. Something able to highlight real teamwork instead of competition.

We designed the TL1 robotics platform from scratch according to their wish and guidelines. We were able to:

– Define the NGSS items to reach

– Choose the coding platform that would best fit: BBC microbit here

– Design the entire hardware using professional grade CAD: the platform is evolutive and easy to upgrade with almost all 3.3V sensors of the market and with 3D printed parts designed by kids.

– Create an entire project-based curriculum with various activities in different learning fields

– Create the product packaging

– Stand by TechLabs through their entire KickStarter campaign

PROJECT ENERBALL: AN ELECTRICAL ENERGY PRODUCING SOCCER BALL

One-third of the world’s population lives off the grid. One often neglected consequence is the kids’ struggle doing their homework in low light conditions.

We had the chance to mentor students who designed the core of a soccer ball that generates and harvests electrical energy used to create light thanks to a LED lamp.

A complete project from the initial social issue to the working proof of concept.

PROJECT MAYA: A TAILOR MADE PROSTHETIC ARM

Maya suffered from agenesis. Her right forearm failed to develop during embryonic growth. Despite her ability to achieve almost all daily tasks, some stay beyond reach.

Maya got in touch with us and we decided to design a tailor-made 3D printed prosthetic arm for her.

We went through each step of the design process to deliver a life-changing device.

The kind of project that puts smiles on each faces involved!
